This is an adaptation of Steven King's short story of the same name. I made a lot of changes to the original story to make it my own, such as making the main narrator female and avoiding animal deaths. My goal was to make an adaptation that was recognizable, but suited for a different audience. I created a version that was female-focused with arguably more likeable characters.
